If on a clear night we raise our eyes to the sky we see many bright dots, more or less large, more or less bright: they are some of the many celestial bodies that populate our Universe.
Stars, planets, satellites, comets, nebulae are some of the celestial bodies we know. Observing the celestial bodies some appear brighter than others: this is due to the fact that some are closer and others more distant from us.
