When users visit eniscuola.eni.com ("Site") or use the online services, tools or systems provided by it ("Services"), Eni S.p.A. (the "Company") and vendors authorised by the same may use cookies, web beacons and other similar technologies to ensure the operation of the Site and Services, to enable them to improve their performance, to offer additional features as well as to target advertisements that are targeted or in line with user interests, subject to the conditions set forth in the relevant legislation.

1. What are cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies?

2. What are the different categories of cookies?

Distinct cookies based on duration

Distinct cookies based on the subject owner of the cookie

3. What types of cookies are used and for what purposes?

Technical cookies for the proper functioning of the Site and Services
The Company uses technical cookies to enable users to move around the Site, use the Services, and to take advantage of various features (such as accessing restricted areas of the Site and Services, remembering user choices, etc.). Without these cookies, the requested Services, such as using the media player, cannot be provided. For this reason, technical cookies do not require users' consent to be installed on Devices.

First-party analytical cookies for performance analysis and improving the Site and Services
Subject to user consent, in order to analyse performance and to improve the performance of the Site and Services, the Company uses its own, i.e., first-party, analytical cookies. In general, the Company does not disclose users' personal data collected through the use of first-party cookies to third parties.
Otherwise, the use of third-party cookies may result in the disclosure of users' personal data, collected while browsing our Site or using our Services, to the third parties to which the third-party cookies belong.

5.How long is the personal data retained that is collected through the use of cookies?
