"Super" El Niño in arrivo: cosa significa per il clima?

Climate scientists have issued a warning: prepare for a turbulent period. El Niño forms part of a natural cycle called ENSO - the El Niño–Southern Oscillation - which lasts from two to seven years and has three different phases. During the El Niño phase, surface waters in the eastern Pacific Ocean, near the Equator, become warmer than normal for several consecutive months.
